Benefits of Applying for the Schwarzman Scholarship ProgramÂ

For Interview

If after submitting your application and you are selected for an interview, the program will cover your travel expenses such as economy class airfare or train tickets, group meals, and one night of hotel accommodation if necessary.

Scholarship Applicants

As for the students who are selected to become members of Schwarzman Scholars Program, they will get a fully funded scholarship including the following benefits.Â

Eligibility Criteria of Schwarzman Scholars ProgrammeÂ

Listed below are the criteria you must fulfill to be considered eligible for the Schwarzman Scholars Programme 2025 in China:Â

Applicants must have an Undergraduate degreeÂ

Applicants who have gotten admission to study  undergraduate degree programs must be consistent to successfully complete all degree requirements before the 1st of August of their Schwarzman Scholars enrollment year.Â

While there are no requirements for a specific field of study it is important for applicants, to put together why they would want to participate and how becoming a member of the Schwarzman Scholars Program aims at developing their leadership ability within their respective fields. Â

Candidates must be below the age of 29 (preferably between age 18 and 28)Â

 

Candidates must be below the age of 29 preferably between age 18 and 28 as of 1st August of their Schwarzman Scholars enrollment yearÂ

Candidates must be fluent in speaking the English languageÂ

 

Candidates must be proficient in speaking the English language as all teaching will be conducted in English. Official English proficiency test scores must be submitted with the application If the applicant doesn’t speak English as their language. Â

Acceptable test options are:

  • Internet-based Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL iBT). Minimum score 100.
  • International English Language Testing System (IELTS). Minimum score 7.
  • Cambridge English: Advanced (C1) or Proficiency (C2). Minimum score 185.

Graduands from undergraduate institutions where the primary language of instruction was English for at least two years of the applicant’s academic program are exempted from this requirement.Â

More so, applicants who have studied English for tap or more year’s at a Master’s degree level or higher will also be exempted from this requirement.Â

How to Apply for the Schwarzman Scholars Programme 2025 in China?Â

 

Here’s how you can apply for the Schwarzman Scholars Programme:Â

 

  • Applicants must complete an online application form and provide required documents by the deadline (the required documents for this scholarship will be listed below). Â
  • Applicants from the United States and other eligible countries must apply before September 12, 2024 at 3:00 P.M. EDT.Â
  • To apply from Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macao, candidates can submit their applications until May 20, 2024 at 12:00 P.M. EDT.Â
  • Once the application is submitted, a confirmation message will be sent to the applicant. Â
