ELIGIBILITY FOR THE SCHWARZMAN SCHOLARS AWARDÂ
Applicants and candidates interested in the Schwarzman Scholars Award must meet the following highlighted criteria.
Age range:Â The required age range is between 18 – 28 years. Before applying for this Schwarzman scholar candidates must not be 29 yearsÂ
Degree: All the applicants of this scholarship must have an undergraduate degree, even if they are currently enrolled in the degree it should be completed before August 1 of admission into the Schwarzman Scholars.
Specific field: No specific field is required for this program, all fields are highly welcomed and students can apply regardless of their field of study.
Language: All the applicants for Schwarzman scholars must be highly proficient in English Speaking.
All the classes, lectures and research will be conducted in the English language, which is why the English language is highly needed. Students without English language as their native language should submit an English proficiency test to satisfy their English speaking skills.
They will need to submit the followingÂ
TOEFL iBT score:Â 100min
IELTS score: 7 min
- English proficiency tests will be waived for students in the following categories.
- Students with English language as their native language.
- Students who studied English for 2 years
- Students that studied at least 2 years in university/college which uses the English language to teach.

2 ESSAY
2 different Essay writing is required from applicants which include:
Leadership Essay: The leadership Essay will have 750 words. In this essay, you will demonstrate your leadership ability and how it has positively impacted people and the society around you.Â
Statement of purpose Essay: Your statement of purpose should be 500 words, in your statement of purpose you should demonstrate what motivated you to apply for the Schwarzman Scholars Award and how the scholarship will help you to accomplish your dream. In this Essay, you should strongly specify why you chose your field of study plus how the scholarship will contribute to your achievement. Lastly, you should include your future goals after you are through with your studies.
By providing this information and details the committee in charge of selection will get to know more about you, through the submitted Essay they will decide if you are qualified for the scholarship or not.
3 LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATIONÂ Â
The applicants for the Schwarzman Scholars Awards should submit 3 different letters of recommendation, coming from those too close to them who can tell the applicant’s qualities on leadership, personal qualities, and the personal experience they had while working with the applicant.
A RESUME
You should submit your current version of your CV with a maximum of 2 pages.
The resume should include your accomplishments, leadership experience, and education.
If there’s any internship experience you should also include them on your CV.Â
INTRODUCTION VIDEOÂ
All the applicants are required to make a short video of themselves with a maximum of 1 minute, in this video they should make a short introduction of themselves in any background or setting that seems cool to them.
This video is to enable the committee to visually watch how you explain yourself by yourself. Providing an Excellent introduction video of yourself will increase your chances of getting the Schwarzman Scholars Award.
Note: Anything you said in this video about yourself should be real.
Tips: Ensure the video is not blurred, it should clearly show your face and your voice should be Audible enough.
TRANSCRIPTSÂ
The transcripts of Your academic records are among the required documents to submit. This includes academic records from secondary school and your degree in a higher institution.
