- Anyone applying must not be above 30 years by May 31, 2024.
- Must be a disabled person who is episodic or permanent and has affected the individual to participate in post-secondary education.
- The participants should be able to enroll in any full-time course of 1-4 years for a post-secondary program in any public Canadian institution.
- The recipients must agree that it’s fully their responsibility that any funding received by the donor (Rick & Amanda Hansen scholarship) will be positively utilized and will not affect the status negatively.
- Participants of this scholarship must not receive any other financial assistance or award equal to or above $2,500 yearly. If this happens the Rick and Amanda Hansen scholarship will never be held responsible for it.

Rick and Amanda Hansen are disabled couples who initiated a scholarship program to help those with Disabilities so that they can continue their education.
They strongly believe that those with a disability should access education without any barriers.
This great vision was founded on the 1st of April to help those Canadians with Disabilities financially so that they can further their post-secondary dream education.
Since the existence of this foundation, it has given scholarships for disabled females and males residing in Canada.
This foundation by Rick and Amanda Hansen funds $10,000 to $40,000 each year to help physically disabled students.

Mattinson Scholarship Program for Students with Disabilities

Deadline: June, 5th.

This scholarship is specifically designed to academically help those with Disabilities and encourage them so that they can further their education.

- Must be a permanent resident or a citizen of Canada.
- Still taking a full-time study in a bachelor’s degree program.

- 70% average cumulative average cumulative just for the last 3 terms of available marks. It can be a non-academic course eg. Personal development or career-related course.

- Students should be able to describe how their disability has affected their education and how getting this scholarship can help them financially in their education.
