Chick-fil-A is committed to supporting the educational aspirations of its Team Members through its Remarkable Futures Scholarships. This program offers significant financial aid to help employees further their education. Here’s a detailed guide on the application process, eligibility criteria, and important deadlines.

Important Scholarship DatesÂ

• Application opens online for Team Members on 1st August, 2023

• Application closes online for Team Members on 18th October 2023 (5:00 PM CST)Â

• November 8, 2023 (5:00 PM CST): Recommendation portal closes for Operators.

• Scholarship America evaluates all submitted applications between December 2023 to January 2024Â

• Operators are notified about scholarship recipients and non-recipients from March 2024. Award packages are sent via mail to the location of the Restaurants.Â

• April 25, 2024: Team Member non-recipients are notified via email on 25th April 2024. Scholarship recipients accept the award.

• June 14, 2024: Award payments are sent to scholarship recipients’ home addresses.

• True Inspiration Scholarship Award

Leadership Scholarship Award Amounts: $1,000 & $2,500

Eligibility Requirements

• Be an employee of one of the franchised, company-owned, or affiliated Restaurants (including STC brand Restaurants) at the time of application and award presentation.

• Currently pursuing or planning to pursue studies in the upcoming academic year as a:

1. Postsecondary undergraduate or graduate studentÂ
2. Dual enrollment studentÂ
3. Undergraduate or graduate student at an accredited: Two-year college, Four-year university, or Vocational-technical school

• Be recommended by an Operator, Interim Manager, or Executive General Manager, addressing the Team Member’s professional achievements.

• Demonstrate care and service for others, detailing voluntary impacts on the community, friends, and family over the last 12 months.

• Meet the academic requirement of a 2.5 minimum cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale.

• Team Members who qualify can reapply annually for Remarkable Futures Scholarships, with a lifetime maximum award of $35,000.

True Inspiration Scholarship Award Amount: $25,000

Eligibility Requirements

• Be an employee of one of the franchised, company-owned, or affiliated Restaurants (including STC brand Restaurants) at the time of application and award presentation.

• Currently pursuing or planning to pursue studies in the upcoming academic year as a:

1. Postsecondary undergraduate or graduate student
2. Dual enrollment studentÂ

Here are some thoughtful tips to help increase your chances of getting accepted for the Chick-fil-A Scholarship. Â

Whatever you do, ensure to start your application as early as possible as there are other applicants who are looking to grab the same opportunity as you.  It gives you ample time to ask questions, gather transcripts, and thoughtfully complete your portions as required. Â

Ensure your transcript includes your name, school name, GPA, and the number of credit hours for each class taken. Check carefully to see if all questions are comprehensively answered and submit all demonstrated care and service opportunities.Â

There are two ways to apply for a Remarkable Future Scholarship. Are you a Team Member? Please take note of them:Â

You can apply by visitingcfa.scholarsapply.org or viachick-fil-a.com/scholarships. Whichever website you choose for your application is equally as fine as the other.Â

Most importantly, ensure your Operator receives the recommendation request to prevent missing out on necessary information prior to the deadline. Confirm recommendation submissions through your application status.

Required DocumentsÂ

The following documents are needed:

• A current or recent transcript. Must include your name, school name, grades, and credit hours. Grade reports are not accepted.
• A high school transcript may be required if you have less than one year at a postsecondary institution.
• Transcripts from all schools. Submit transcripts from every institution attended.

Meanwhile, if applying for the $25,000 Scholarship, also include:

• Income Tax Return. First two pages of the most recent IRS Form 1040 or T-1 Canadian tax return for the Team Member or their parent/guardian if dependent.

No, the Remarkable Futures Scholarships are not renewable, eligible Team Members can reapply annually. Please note that the $25,000 award is a one-time scholarship, and winners will not receive automatic renewals.

Are there tuition discounts available outside scholarships?Â
